My whole family is convinced that spaghetti ice (a delightful German dessert) is possibly the greatest invention since sliced bread.
“Spaghetti” fashioned out of delicious vanilla ice cream, topped with strawberry “sauce”, this treat is sought after and fully enjoyed every time we visit Europe.
In fact, it is such a tradition, that upon discovering it somewhere new, it is announced to all family members not present via email/phone as soon as possible. Most recently, this phenomenon occurred in Victoria, British Columbia. After consuming every drop of my heavenly dessert, I quickly hurried back to my hotel to inform my family members that we must all, eventually, travel together to Victoria in order to experience the spaghetti ice (among other things).
Unfortunately, whenever it is placed in front of me, I devour it without another thought. This being the reason why the only picture I actually have of the dessert is an empty plate:
